Dr John Mahony and Cllr Andy Lugger, who were recently chosen as candidates for the City Council elections on Thursday 7th May 2026, have launched a new survey for residents in Plymstock. This is your opportunity to have your say and shape the future of our community. You can take the survey below.

Your Plymstock Conservative team are working hard all year round and want to hear from you. Help make our area an even better place to live by completing this survey and telling us your local priorities.

Your Plymstock Conservative team includes:

  • Dr John Mahony – Former Plymstock GP and health champion standing to represent Plymstock Radford in May 2026
  • Cllr Andy Lugger – Conservative Group Leader on Plymouth City Council standing to represent Plymstock Dunstone in May 2026
  • Cllr Kathy Watkin – Plymouth City Councillor for Plymstock Radford
  • Rebecca Smith MP - Member of Parliament for South West Devon

After years of campaigning, a new Post Office opened on the Plymstock Broadway on the 9th October. This is great news and we are continuing to campaign for more investment in the Broadway, including a banking hub to replace Lloyds.

The Labour government have recently announced that they will invest £20 million to transform St Budeaux on the other side of Plymouth, but Plymstock won’t receive a penny.

Do you think this is fair?

Following pressure from Rebecca Smith MP and your local Conservative team, a new bus service has been introduced linking Plympton, Plymstock and the new Crematorium, but the Labour-run council has only funded this service until April 2026.

Should the council keep funding the service?
